What’s (one of) the problem(s) with society today? Anyone with a soapbox is an expert.
Radio shock jocks, news commentators, the endless parade of so-called ‘experts’ on TV — prognosticating on everything from fashion, to food, to economics, to celebrity breakups, to elections, to sport — they all know what’s going on and what’s going to go on. The poor punters out there don’t have a chance to sort out the good predictions from the terrible, terrible chaff. Who are they going to believe? Which stocks should they buy with their hard-earned cash? Which team is going to win that championship? Which side of the bed are they going to get out of? How many more bad clichés will I make?
So, you should receive what I am about to tell you with great relief: no-one really knows anything, so stop worrying 🙂
